This project included three group members individually digitizing polygons, lines, and points and combining all three maps in order to create one map displaying a digitized Crater Lake. Using two images of Crater Lake (one aerial and one focused on roads), I georeferenced them together in order to create various polygons, lines, and points. The polygon layers represented various types of land including dense forest, dry forest, dry land, mountain area, the rim of Crater Lake, as well as the lake itself. The types of lines that were created include creeks that lined the mountain, driving roads, and hiking trails. Finally, the points that were created include a cafeteria/gift shop, campsites, lodges, look-out points, as well as picnic areas for visitors.
